Charcoal grills have dominated the grilling trade for the longest time. Lunch was knocking off another merchandise on the listing of the five flavours of Gwangju: boribap. Okay technically it is Mudeungsan boribap that’s the ~flavour~ but I had a delicious restaurant nearby. This is the one I went to with Seung Hee, her husband, and Jenny. Lovely :)) Boribap is only a bowl of barley rice + heaps of facet dishes and sesame oil and vinegared gochujang and it is scrumptious. This places does it rather well for eight,000 received. (And the chilly tea that’s mainly very strained nurungji water is so lovely.) The spicy stewed pork is crazy good, especially when eaten with the coleslaw with a yuzu dressing.
